Homogenic Live
''Homogenic Live'' is a live album by Icelandic singer Björk, collecting her favorite performances from her 1997–1999 Homogenic Tour. It was Björk's first tour to have soundboard recordings and thus the first of her live CDs to feature a wide variety of performances taken from different dates and venues throughout a single tour. Originally released in the five-disc '' Live Box'' set in 2003, ''Homogenic Live'' was later released separately on 1 June 2004 by One Little Indian records. Background Björk did not have soundboard recordings for her first two concert tours. When compiling material for those tours’ corresponding live albums, she had to use audio taken from pre-mixed videotaped performances. Rósa Guðmundsdóttir (1795–1855), was an Icelandic poet. She belonged to the most known poets in Iceland of her time and is the author of many well known folk songs and poems in Icelandic. Bachelorette (song)
"Bachelorette" is a song recorded by Icelandic singer, songwriter and actress Björk for her third studio album, ''Homogenic'' (1997). Released as its second single on 1 December 1997, the song was originally written for a film by Bernardo Bertolucci, but the project was withdrawn. The lyrics for "Bachelorette" were written by Sjón, a friend and collaborator of the singer. The song's accompanying music video was noted for its surrealistic art direction, leading to a win at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards. Mark Bell (22 February 1971 – 8 October 2014) was a British DJ, record producer, and member of the pioneering techno group LFO. He recorded on Warp Records, and also collaborated with artists such as Björk and Depeche Mode. Biography Early life Mark Bell's early musical influences came from three specific sources.
