Hisham Zreiq
Hisham Zreiq ( ar, هشام زريق, he, הישאם זרייק; born 9 February 1968 in Nazareth), also spelled Zrake, is an award-winning Palestinian Christian- Israeli Independent filmmaker, poet, animator and visual artist. He began working in computer art in 1994, and in 1996 started exhibiting his work in galleries and museums. In 2007 he filmed his first documentary, ''The Sons of Eilaboun'', and in 2008 he created the short film ''Just Another Day'', dealing with the life of Arabs living in western world after September 11 terror attacks. He uses his poetry and visual art in his films, as in ''Just Another Day'', and was a member of the Culture Unplugged film festival panel. In 2018 Zreiq contributed to the book ''An Oral History of the Palestinian Nakba'' by writing a chapter based on the interviews from his documentary ''The Sons of Eilaboun''. Nazareth

Chicago Palestine Film Festival
The Chicago Palestine Film Festival is an annual film festival begun in 2001 in Chicago and is one of the most important venues in the US for the screening of Palestinian cinema. It accepts works in a variety of genres — documentaries, dramas, comedies — in both long and short formats. Although the organizers "are especially interested in work by Palestinian filmmakers,...nationality is not a selection criteria." The initial intention was for the festival to be hosted at the University of Illinois at Chicago. However, the University refused to host the event if there wasn't an Israeli film festival alongside. For this reason, the decision was made to make this a citywide festival funded by the local community. During the first festival, movies were shown for free at the Preston Bradley Center in Uptown. Carthage
Carthage was the capital city of Ancient Carthage, on the eastern side of the Lake of Tunis in what is now Tunisia. The Carthage Film Festival (CFF) is an annual film festival that takes place in Tunis and founded in 1966. It is also called by its abbreviation JCC, from its French name, , or by its Arabic title, (''Cinema Days of Carthage''). Initially biennial alternating with the Carthage Theatre Festival, the festival became an annual event in 2014. The Boston Palestine Film Festival (BPFF) is an annual film festival held in Boston, MA that was established in 2007. Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik ( ar, هشام بن عبد الملك, Hishām ibn ʿAbd al-Malik; 691 – 6 February 743) was the tenth Umayyad caliph, ruling from 724 until his death in 743. Early life Hisham was born in Damascus, the administrative capital of the Umayyad Caliphate, in AH 72 (691–692 CE). His father was the Umayyad caliph Abd al-Malik (). His mother was A'isha, daughter of Hisham ibn Isma'il of the Banu Makhzum, a prominent clan of the Quraysh, and Abd al-Malik's longtime governor of the Islamic holy cities of Mecca and Medina. Eilabun ( ar, عيلبون ''Ailabun'', he, עַילַבּוּן, ) is an Arab Christian village located in the Beit Netofa Valley around south-west of Safed in northern Galilee between Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee.
