Hirosada II, also known as Sadahiro II, was a designer of ukiyo-e Japanese woodblock prints in Osaka. He was a student of Konishi Hirosada (fl. c. 1819-1863) was the most prolific Osaka-based designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints during the late Edo period. Like most producers of —prints originating in the Osaka and Kyoto regions—he specialized in ''yakusha-e'' actor prints. In the summer of 1864, Hirosada I died and his student changed his name, for a second time, from “Hirosada” (廣貞) to “Sadahiro” (貞廣). Utagawa Kunimasu
was a designer of ''ukiyo-e'' woodblock prints in Osaka who was active during the late Edo period. He was a leading producer of ''kamigata-e'', prints from the Osaka and Kyoto areas. He is also known as Sadamasu 升 the artist name he used prior to Kunimasu. Biography Very little is known of Kunimasa's personal details, including his birth and death dates. Art historians tend to date his activity to the early 1830s through the early 1850s. Ryusai Shigeharu
(1802–1853) was an Osaka-based Japanese ''ukiyo-e'' woodblock print artist active during the first half of the nineteenth century. A member of the Utagawa school, he was one of a very select group of ''kamigata-e'' print artists who were able to support themselves solely as professional artists. Biography Shigeharu was born Yamaguchi Yasuhide in Hizen Province, Nagasaki in 1802 (year 2 of Kyōwa). His father, operated the money changing business. He moved to the district of Osaka around 1820, to study printmaking with his first mentor, (fl. c.1815-1841). His next teacher was (1787–1832), with whom he collaborated on several major projects. Some have suggested that Shigeharu also studied under master print designer Hokusai; however, there is no definitive evidence to support this.
