Kenneth Harvand Hind, CBE (born 15 September 1949) was the Conservative Member of Parliament for West Lancashire from 1983 until 1992, when he was defeated by Labour's Colin Pickthall. Hind Khoury ( ar, هند خوري, born 12 June 1953) is a Palestinian economist. She was the delegate general of the Palestine Liberation Organization in France from March 2006 until June 2010. Hind Dehiba Chahyd (born 17 March 1979, Bejaâd, Morocco) is a Moroccan- French runner who specializes in the 1500 metres. Early career Her first podium finish at the 2005 European Athletics Indoor Championships came with controversy. She took the bronze medal but impeded fourth-placed Helen Clitheroe in the final stages of the 1500 m. However, Clitheroe's appeal was not successful and Dehiba came away with her first European medal. At the age of 14, she ran 1500m in 4 min 21 s barefoot and 3000m in 9 min 26 s. Hind bint ʿUtba ( ar, هند بنت عتبة), was an Arab woman who lived in the late 6th and early 7th centuries CE; she was the wife of Abu Sufyan ibn Harb, a powerful man of Mecca, in western Arabia. Hind al-Husseini ( ar, هند الحسيني) (April 25, 1916 in Jerusalem – September 13, 1994 in Jerusalem) was a Palestinian people, Palestinian woman notable for rescuing 55 orphaned survivors of the Deir Yassin massacre, after they were dropped off in Jerusalem and left to fend for themselves. Hind bint Amr ibn Haram ( ar, هند بنت عمرو بن حرام) was a sahaba, or companion, of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. She was married to Amr ibn al-Jamuh, one of the chieftains of the Banu Salmah clan in Medina. Rolf Hind (born 1964 in London) is a British pianist and composer. He studied at the Royal College of Music in London and at the University of California, Los Angeles. Natasha Patricia "Tash" Hind (born 21 August 1989, Wellington) is a New Zealand representative swimmer. She won the silver medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 2010 Commonwealth Games alongside Lauren Boyle, Amaka Gessler and Penelope Marshall. She won the bronze medal with the same team in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay at the same Games. She has competed at two Olympics.
