Arkansas Highway 133 (AR 133, Hwy. 133) is a designation for three state highways in South Arkansas. One route of runs from Louisiana Highway 142 north through Crossett to Highway 8 near Fountain Hill. A second segment runs from Highway 160 north to US Route 425 (US 425) at Lacey. A third segment begins in Rison at Highway 35 and runs north to Highway 54 south of Pine Bluff. Arkansas Highway 189 (AR 189, Ark. 189, and Hwy. 189) is the designation for a state highway in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The route is split into four sections, all of which are located in southeast Arkansas. The first section is a very short highway that begins at US Highway 425 (US 425) in Hamburg and travels to the Ashley County Fairgrounds just south of Hamburg. Highway 52 (AR 52, Ark. 52, and Hwy. 52) is a designation for three state highways in Southeast Arkansas. All segments are low volume, two-lane roadways in rural areas. The segment between Wilmot and Indian has been designated since the original 1926 Arkansas state highway numbering, with new designations created in 1966 and 1985. A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. Crossett Post Office
The Crossett Post Office is a historic former post office and library building at 125 Main Street in Crossett, Arkansas. The single story Art Deco building was built in 1940 as a Works Progress Administration project, and served as the town's post office until 1968. In that year the federal government sold the building to the town for $1, and it was converted for use as a public library. It served in that role until 2002, when the library relocated to new quarters. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. Crossett Methodist Church
The Crossett Methodist Church is now known as the First Methodist Church of Crossett. It is at 500 Main St., Crossett, Arkansas, United States, and was built in 1949. History It is the work of architect John Parks Almand and of Trapp, Clippord & Phelps. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 17, 2010. Before 1902, a travelling Methodist minister held meetings in a tent, across from the Missouri Pacific Railroad station. The owners of Crossett Lumber Company owned all the property in town and paid the preacher. The Arkansas law in 1837 prohibited the sale of liquor within one mile of a place of worship. Overnight, a wooden church was built on the site of the tent meeting. This kept a pending saloon license from being issued, and stopped its opening in the town.
