Heorhiy Viktorovych Sudakov ( uk, Георгій Вікторович Судаков; born 1 September 2002) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar Donetsk and the Ukraine national team. Club career Sudakov is a product of the different youth sportive schools, who in 2017 joined the Shakhtar Donetsk Academy in the Ukrainian Premier League in 2020. Sudakov played in the Ukrainian Premier League Reserves and made his debut for Shakhtar Donetsk in the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League in a winning away match against Real Madrid on 21 October 2020. On 13 February 2022, Sudakov and Mykhailo Mudryk extended their contracts with Shakhtar Donetsk until 31 December 2026. On 25 October 2023, he scored his first Champions League goal in a 2–1 away defeat against Barcelona. Football Club Shakhtar Donetsk ( uk, Футбольний клуб «Шахтар» Донецьк , short nickname "miners") is a Ukrainian professional football club from the city of Donetsk. In 2014, due to the War in Donbass, the club was forced to move to Lviv, and had played matches in Lviv (2014–2016) and in Kharkiv (2017–2020) whilst having its office headquarters and training facilities in Kyiv. In May 2020, Shakhtar started to play home matches at NSC Olimpiyskiy in Kyiv. Shakhtar has appeared in several European competitions and is often a participant in the UEFA Champions League. The club became the first club in independent Ukraine to win the UEFA Cup in 2009, the last year before the competition was revamped as the Europa League. 2023–24 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2023–24 Ukrainian Premier League season, referred to as the VBet Liha for sponsorship reasons, is the 33rd top-level football club competition since the fall of the Soviet Union and the 16th since the establishment of the Ukrainian Premier League. On June 7, 2023 the UPL published highlights of the next season regulation draft announcing that preliminary the next season is expected to start on July 29. Also, this season is expected to have the national cup competitions restored which expected to start on August 16. The season regulation draft is yet to be approved by the General Assembly of the UPL participants. Teams This season the Ukrainian Premier League remained at 16 teams. The Zimbru Stadium () is a football-specific stadium in Chișinău, Moldova, completed in May 2006 with a capacity of 10,400 people, corresponds to all norms required by UEFA and FIFA for national and international matches. Group C of UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying was one of the ten groups to decide which teams would qualify for the UEFA Euro 2024 final tournament in Germany. The Letná Stadium ( cs, Stadion Letná ), is a association football, football stadium in Prague. It is the home venue of AC Sparta Prague and often hosts the home matches of the Czech Republic national football team. The stadium's capacity is 18,887 seats.
