Liam Johnson Hendriks (born 10 February 1989), nicknamed "Slydah", is an Australian professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Minnesota Twins, Kansas City Royals, Toronto Blue Jays and Oakland Athletics. Joan Patricia Hendriks (born 1936), also known as Aunty Joan, is a Ngugi elder of one of the three groups of Quandamooka people in Moreton Island, Queensland, Australia. She is the first Indigenous person appointed to the National Catholic Education Commission, and has brought Indigenous issues to the forefront at the United Nations and International Interfaith Forums. Hendriks is an elder at the Cleveland Murri Court. She is also a Catholic theologian and has written extensively on the conjunction of Aboriginal spirituality and Christianity. Geoffrey Francis "Geoff" Hendriks (born 6 February 1959) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the West Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) between 1975 and 1985. He is the youngest premiership player in the competition's history, having won a premiership with the Falcons at the age of 16 in his debut season. Biography Hendriks is the son of Dutch immigrants. Jerry Hendriks (born 25 October 1988) is a Dutch darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career BDO Hendriks won the 2003 WDF World Youth Cup. During his time in the BDO he was a losing semi-finalist in the French Open and Swiss Open and was defeated in the last 16 of the 2010 World Masters. Jan Antoon Hubert "Jean" Hendriks (18 August 1925 – 6 January 2015) was a Dutch politician. He served as a member of the Senate of the Netherlands between 1981 and 1991 for the Christian Democratic Appeal. He spent most of his working life at the Nederlandsche Heidemaatschappij, including ten years as its director. Career Hendriks was born on 18 August 1925 in Valkenburg. His father was the head of a primary school who would later serve in the States of Limburg. Hendriks followed his primary school education in Berg en Terblijt. Eileen Mary Lind Hendriks (1887–1978) was a geologist specialising in the geology of Devon and Cornwall. In 1930, she attempted to become the first female geologist employed by the Geological Survey of Great Britain, but her application was unsuccessful. Early life Hendriks was born in Birmingham, Warwickshire on 3 November 1887, the daughter of Henry and Helena Hendricks. Her father was an estate agent and surveyor. She was privately educated and showed an early interest in geology when she attended public lectures by Charles Lapworth in Birmingham. Geologist Hendriks graduated from the Aberystwyth University in 1919 with a BSc, later completing a PhD at Imperial College London. Berend Hendriks (Apeldoorn, July 9, 1918 – Arnhem, August 6, 1997) was a Dutch artist, and lecturer at the ArtEZ Academy of fine art in Arnhem. Together with Peter Struycken he initiated the Arnhem school of environmental art. Life and work Hendriks, son of an arborist from Apeldoorn, was initially destined to follow into his father's footsteps. He attended the horticultural school in Boskoop, but finally opted for a career in the visual arts. Pieter Hendriks (born 13 April 1970), is a former South African rugby union player who played for the South Africa national rugby union team between 1992 and 1996.
