Sam Hendriks
Sam Hendriks (born 25 January 1995) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Cypriot club Olympiakos Nicosia. Club career De Graafschap Born in Doetinchem, Hendriks began his football career with local amateur side VV VIOD, before transferring to De Graafschap in 2005. Hendriks made his debut as an 88th-minute substitute for Anco Jansen against Telstar in the Eerste Divisie on 26 April 2013. Sidelined by a knee injury for the majority of the 2012–13 season, Hendriks only made one appearance for the first team. Ajax On 24 June 2013, Hendriks signed a four-year contract with Ajax. 2013–14 Jong Ajax Season
During the 2013–14 season Jong Ajax will participate in the Dutch Eerste Divisie, the 2nd tier of professional football in the Netherlands. The 2013–14 AFC Ajax season marks the Jupiler League debut of the AFC Ajax reserves' squad Jong Ajax. Previously playing in the Beloften Eredivisie (a separate league for reserve teams, not included in the Dutch professional or amateur league structure) players were allowed to move around freely between the reserve team and the first team during the course of the season. This will no longer be the case as Jong Ajax will register and field a separate squad from that of Ajax first team whose home matches will be played at Sportpark De Toekomst while playing in the Eerste Divisie, except for the occasional match in the Amsterdam Arena. The 2012–13 Eerste Divisie, known as Jupiler League for sponsorship reasons, was the fifty-seventh season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began on 10 August 2012 with the first matches of the season and ended on 26 May 2013 with the returns of the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, also involving the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2012–13 Eredivisie. On 3 May 2013, during the last round of the regular season, SC Cambuur secured the championship and the only direct promotion berth. Go Ahead Eagles won promotion to the Eredivisie in the play-offs. The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup.
