Henanzhai
Henanzhai Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. Situated at the northwest of Ligu Mountain, the town shares border with Gulou Subdistrict and Mujiayu Town in the north, Jugezhuang and Dongshaoqu Towns in the east, Mulin Town in the south, as well as Beifang and Shilipu Towns in the west. In the year 2020, the census counted 24,155 residents for this town. The town got its name Henanzhai () for its location south of Chao River. History Administrative divisions In 2021, Henanzhai Town was made up of 31 subdivisions, where 3 were communities and 28 were villages. Gulou Subdistrict, Beijing
Gulou Subdistrict () is a subdistrict and the seat of Miyun District of Beijing, China. It borders Miyun Town and Tanying Ethnic Township to its north, Mujiayu Town to its east, Henanzhai Town to its south, and Guoyuan Subdistrict to its west. As of 2020, it had a population of 154,739. The subdistrict was created in 2005 from part of Miyun Town. its name Gulou () originates from the Miyun Drum Tower that used to exist within the region. Shilipu Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. Situated along the China National Highway 101, it shares border with Xitiangezhuang and Miyun Towns in its north, Guoyuan Subdistrict and Henanzhai Town in its east, and Beifang Town in its southwest. As of 2020, it had 29,824 people residing under its administration. Its name Shilipu () is derived from the fact that the village which the town was named after was ten Chinese miles away from the county's government building during the Qing dynasty. Jugezhuang Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. it is on the north of a mountainous region. The town is located to the south of Mujiayu and Taishitun Towns, west of Dachengzi Town, north of Dahuashan and Dongshaoqu Towns, and northeast of Henanzhai Town. In 2020, it had 22,032 residents within its borders. Its name Jugezhuang () comes from Jugezhuang Village, the seat of the town's government. Mujiayu
Mujiayu Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. It is situated at the south of Miyun Reservoir. The town shares border with Bulaotun Town in its north, Taishitun Town in its northeast, Jugezhuang and Henanzhai Towns in its south, Tanying Ethnic Township and Gulou Subdistrict in its southwest, and Xiwengzhuang Town in its west. In 2020, it was home to 23,084 inhabitants. The town was given the name Mujiayu () for it being the supposed homeland of Mu Guiying, a legendary Chinese heroine during the Song dynasty. This is a list of township-level divisions of the municipality of Beijing, People's Republic of China (PRC). After province, prefecture, and county-level divisions, township-level divisions constitute the formal fourth-level administrative divisions of the PRC. Miyun District
Miyun District () is situated in northeast Beijing. It has an area of and a population of 460,800 (2010 Census). Miyun District government seat is located in Gulou Subdistrict. History Miyun was one of the places where Warlord Feng Yuxiang stationed his troops in preparation of the Beijing Coup of 1924. In the 1930s, Miyun District was occupied by the Imperial Japanese Army and became part of the area controlled by the East Hebei Autonomous Council, a puppet state of Japan. The Japanese occupation was challenged, however, when a local Taoist priest managed to incite Miyun's peasantry. As member of the Yellow Sand Society, he garnered followers and convinced them that they could become immune to gunfire through magical rituals that he performed. Thus highly motivated, the peasants launched a rebellion in July 1936 and defeated an East Hopei Army unit that was sent to suppress them. Mulin Town () is one of the 19 towns of Shunyi District, Beijing. It borders Henanzhai Town to its north, Dongshaoqu and Longwantun Towns to its east, Yang and Beixiaoying Towns to its south, and Yangsong Town in its west. Dongshaoqu Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. It is located within a valley, and surrounded by mountains in all four directions. Beijing–Shenyang High-speed Railway
Beijing–Shenyang high-speed railway is a -long high-speed rail line of the China Railway High-speed between Beijing and Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province. It is a section of the Beijing–Harbin high-speed railway. The line was intended to relieve a significant bottleneck in China's transportation network between the Northeast region and Beijing. The route runs to the north and inland of the existing routes which hug the coast around the Bohai sea. The new line leaves Beijing heading northeast to Chengde in Hebei province then turn east through Chaoyang, and Fuxin in Liaoning province, on route to Shenyang. There are 16 stations, which were the last section of the Beijing–Harbin high-speed railway to be completed; the other sections of that line had been operational since December 1, 2012.
