Hemantha Devapriya
Hettiwatte Hemantha Devapriya (born 12 April 1958) is a former cricketer who played first-class cricket for Sri Lanka. In September 2018, he was one of 49 former Sri Lankan cricketers felicitated by Sri Lanka Cricket, to honour them for their services before Sri Lanka became a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Early life He was educated at CMS Sri Jayawardenapura College - Kotte and Nalanda College Colombo and played cricket for the Nalanda college first XI team from 1976 to 79. After leaving school, Hemantha played cricket for Colts Cricket Club in Colombo. His first-class appearances were for Sri Lanka Under-25s (1980/81), Sri Lankans (1981 in England), Arosa Sri Lanka (1982/83), Colts Cricket Club (1988/89 to 1995/96) and Southern Province (1992). The rebel tour to South Africa from October–December 1982 scuppered any aspirations of official international recognition. Mahesh Hemantha
Mahesh Hemantha was a Sri Lankan cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman. Hemantha made his first-class debut during the Saravanamuttu Trophy competition of 1991–92, playing for Kalutara Physical Culture Centre. Hemantha's career began unsteadily, though in the last of his six matches for the team, in their only year of first-class cricket, he hit a career-best 163, which single-handedly accounted for nearly 70 percent of the total number of runs he scored in his entire first-class career – and the best first-class score for any Kalutara player. While Kalutara did not enter first-class cricket the following season, Hemantha switched teams to play for Antonians Sports Club. Jayawardene Welathanthrige Hemantha Devapriya Boteju, commonly known as Hemantha Boteju, (born 3 November 1977) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer, who played in two One Day Internationals in 1999. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. Umpiring career He currently works as an umpire and stood in a tour match during Australia's tour to Sri Lanka in July 2016. Domestic career He was trained by the late Pavandeep Jumararunga Athwal as a youngster in Sri Lanka. Despite having not performed well during his first match, Boteju has come up through the Sri Lankan cricket team from the Under-19s and the Pepsi tri-nation series.
