Hemang Badani
Hemang Kamal Badani (; born 14 November 1976) is a former Indian Cricketer, who played for the Tamil Nadu and Vidarbha cricket teams. He also captained the Tamil Nadu cricket team. Early life Hemang Badani is born in a Gujarati family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Domestic career In 2007, Badani signed up and played for the Chennai Superstars team in the breakaway Indian Cricket League (ICL). Therefore, he was ruled ineligible for mainstream cricket with Tamil Nadu and India during this time. He quit the ICL in 2009 and made himself available for selection for the Indian Premier League, domestic cricket, and consideration for the Indian national cricket team after a one-year cooling off period. On 27 January 2010, he along with Tamil Nadu all-rounder C Ganapthy were selected by the Chennai Super Kings for the 2010 Indian Premier League but was not chosen in any of the matches. Sunrisers Hyderabad (stylised as SunRisers Hyderabad, SRH) are a franchise cricket team based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, that plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Lanka Premier League (abbreviated as LPL; , ) is a professional cricket league in Sri Lanka in Twenty20 format contested every year by teams representing Sri Lankan cities from 2020. The league was founded by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) in 2018. In August 2020, Ravin Wickramaratne, the Vice President of SLC was officially appointed as the director of the tournament. Jaffna Kings, formerly known as Jaffna Stallions, are a franchise cricket team which plays in the Lanka Premier League (LPL). On December 16, 2020, the team won the inaugural Lanka Premier League 2020 Championship and are the current title holder of the tournament. The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league contested in the state of Tamil Nadu in India and was formed in 2016 by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA). It is played during July and August of every year by eight teams representing eight districts in Tamil Nadu. Shriram Group is the current sponsor of the tournament. The first season was inaugurated by former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni. Then it was won by Tuti Patriots. There have been five seasons of TNPL. The current champions, Chepauk Super Gillies are also the most successful team after winning the title in 2017, 2019 and 2021.
