Helge Söderbom
Lieutenant General Johan ''Helge'' Fritiof Söderbom (21 May 1881 – 3 January 1975) was a senior Swedish Army officer. Söderbom served as head of the Quartermaster Staff from 1928 to 1935 and was Quartermaster-General and as commanding officer of the Swedish Army Quartermaster Corps from 1935 to 1946. Early life Söderbom was born on 21 May 1881 in Ekeberga Parish in Lessebo Municipality, Kronoberg County, Sweden the son of Janne Söderbom and his wife Anna Ekström. Söderbom passed ''mogenhetsexamen'' in Gävle in 1900. His brother Erik Söderbom (1894–1998), was a well-known sports journalist in Scania and chairman of Malmö AIF sports club in Malmö from 1941 to 1943. The Royal Swedish Army Material Administration ( sv, Kungliga Arméförvaltningen, KAF) was a Swedish central government agency that replaced the War Collegium (''Krigskollegium'') in 1865. It was active between the years 1866 and 1954. History The Ministry (''Intendentsdepartementet'') was constituted along with the Artillery Department, Fortification Department, Civil Department, as the Army Materiel Administration, on 1 January 1866. The Ministry consisted of military offices, the chamber office, and secretariat. After 1881 it consisted of a military bureau and a civilian bureau. Råsunda is a district in Solna Municipality, and a suburb in the Stockholm metropolitan area with around 17 500 inhabitants. Filmstaden
Filmstaden was a film studio situated in Råsunda, Solna Municipality in Stockholm, Sweden. History Filmstaden was once one of the most modern film studios in Europe. It was built in 1919–1920 on the basis of designs by Swedish architect Ebbe Crone (1885-1960). It was owned and operated by SF Studios (''Svensk Filmindustri''), the main Swedish film producer at the time. Some 400 movies have been created at Filmstaden. The first movie to be filmed at Filmstaden was ''The Phantom Carriage'' (''Körkarlen''. 1921) by director Victor Sjöström. Practically all Swedish actors and film directors of the 20th century had some connection with Filmstaden. The Royal Swedish Army Staff College ( sv, Kungliga Krigshögskolan, KHS) was a Swedish Army training establishment between 1866 and 1961, providing courses for army officers.
