Helga Livytska ( Weinzierl) is active in the Ukrainian women's movement and is a Ukrainian public figure. She was engaged in charitable activities, in particular, supported the Ukrainian Museum in New York at 203 Second Avenue. Melaniya Vytvytska
Melaniya Vytvytska (''née'': Stelmah; December 31, 1887 – September 9, 1963) was a Ukrainian public figure. The wife of the second President of the Ukrainian People's Republic in exile, Stepan Vytvytskyi, she was also an activist of the Ukrainian women's movement. In 1910 she married Stepan Vytvytskyi. In 1912, they had a son, Ihor Vytvitskyi. From July 16, 1935, she was a member of the social assistance committee of the magistrate staff of the city of Drohobych. On October 11, 1936, she was elected a member of the secretary of the Ukrainian National Society for the Protection of Children and guardianship of young people. She worked in the Committee on Assistance to Political Prisoners, who were often sentenced by Polish courts for a long time, and in the Committee on Assistance to Military Persons with Disabilities. Yaroslava Plaviuk (''née'': Boyko; March 24, 1926, Bila, Ternopil Raion) is active in the Ukrainian women's movement. She is an honorary member of the Ukrainian Women's Society named after Olena Teliha and a member of the Olha Basarab Women's Society. As the wife of Mykola Plaviuk, she held the role of First Lady of Ukraine from 1989 to 1992. Biography Yaroslava Boyko was born in Bila, Ternopil Raion, Ukraine on March 24, 1926. By 1945 she was in the camp for Displaced Persons in US Allied-occupied Germany Karlsfeld near Munich. In 1946 she graduated from the Ukrainian Gymnasium in Berchtesgaden, Bavaria, Germany. The Ukrainian People's Republic (UPR), or Ukrainian National Republic (UNR), was a country in Eastern Europe that existed between 1917 and 1920. It was declared following the February Revolution in Russia by the First Universal. Mykola Vasyliovych Plaviuk ( uk, Микола Васильович Плав'юк; 5 June 1925 – 10 March 2012) was a Ukrainian social and political activist in emigration, who served as the last President of the Ukrainian People's Republic in exile. He terminated his authority on 22 August 1992, when he formally ceded his authority to the first President of independent Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk. Biography Mykola Plaviuk was born on 5 June 1925 in the village of Rusów in Poland (now Rusiv, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, in independent Ukraine).
