Hedensted Idrætsforening is a Danish Association football, football club based in Hedensted. It was founded in 1928, and its first team competed in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. The club is a part of the DBU Jutland regional association. Hedensted IF has more than 800 paying members, making it one of the largest sports clubs in Jutland and Denmark as a whole. History Founded in 1928 by I.S. Hüttel and E. Bjørnmose, who with a single used ball established the club on a rented field with a membership fee of DKK 1 per season, Hedensted IF grew into a staple of the local community. Its 75th anniversary was celebrated with a match against Vejle Boldklub, which was lost 10–0 as 400 spectators were present. There are six senior teams in the club. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. Boldklubben Fremad Amager (meaning in English: The Ball Club Forward Amager ; abbreviated Fremad A) is a Danish professional football club based in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. As of the 2020–21 season, the club's senior men's team play in 1st Division, the second-tier of professional football in the country. Viborg Fodsports Forening ("Viborg Footsport Association"), or Viborg F.F. and VFF for short, is a Danish professional football club based in Viborg. The club was founded in 1896 and waited more than a century before winning its only national trophy, the 2000 Danish Cup. History Viborg FF was founded in 1896, with several other sports apart from football - among other things were gymnastics, cricket, field hockey, boxing, athletics, skiing, weight-lifting, and wrestling. The first big sporting highlight of the club came in 1924, when Viborg FF won the championship in ''Mesterrækken'' (The Champion Division), which was the best regional division in Jutland. The 1st Division (''1. Division'') is the second-highest football league in Denmark, also known as NordicBet Liga for sponsorship reasons. From 1945 to 1991 the 1. Division was the name of the highest level of football in Denmark. With the formation of the Danish Superliga, the 1st Division became the second tier of Danish football. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. The 2017–18 Danish Cup was the 64th season of the Danish Cup competition. Brøndby won the tournament, earning qualification into the third qualifying round of the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League. Denmark Series
The Denmark Series ( da, Danmarksserien) is the fifth tier in the Danish football league system. Teams are divided into four groups of ten. The top team in each group is promoted to the Danish 3rd Division. The bottom three teams in each group are relegated to the regional Copenhagen Series, Zealand Series, Lolland-Falster Series, Funen Series, or Jutland Series as is appropriate for each club geographically. Clubs in the Denmark Series are participants in the Danish Cup tournament. The reserve teams of top-flight Danish Superliga and second-tier Danish 1st Division clubs are allowed to play in the Denmark Series, but 1st Division reserve teams cannot win promotion, as they must stay at least two leagues below their first team squads. Lyngby Boldklub
Lyngby Boldklub () is a Danish professional football club founded in 1921. It is based at Lyngby Stadion in Kongens Lyngby, Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, a northern suburb of Copenhagen. From 1994 to 2001 the club was known as Lyngby FC. The club has won the Danish championship twice (1983 and 1992) and the Danish Cup three times (1984, 1985 and 1990). History The club was first founded on 8 April 1906 but it was disbanded again in 1915 due to problems with where they were allowed to play. On 30 March 1921, 30 young people from the football department of Lyngby IF decided to break away and start their own club. They named it Lyngby Boldklub af 1921.
