Fremad Amager
Boldklubben Fremad Amager (meaning in English: The Ball Club Forward Amager ; abbreviated Fremad A) is a Danish professional football club based in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. As of the 2020–21 season, the club's senior men's team play in 1st Division, the second-tier of professional football in the country. The club consists of an amateur department and a professional section, that is wholly owned by Fremad Amager Elite ApS – a private limited company created on 2 December 2013, initially with 80/20% ownership split between the new investors and the remaining 20% by the members – and small portion by the club's amateur department. The club have primarily played their home games at Sundby Idrætspark since the stadium's inauguration in 1922. Sundby Idrætspark
Sundby Idrætspark is a sports complex, that consists of a combined association football and athletics stadium, located in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. It has been the home ground of the association football clubs BK Fremad Amager and B 1908 since its auguration in September 1922, and have previously hosted BK Standard (1923–1946) and the professional superstructure FC Amager (2008–2009). As of May 2019, the total capacity of approximately 7,200 spectators, with 2,500 seatings at the main grand stand stretching along one side of the pitch, makes the exhibition field among the 25th largest football stadiums in Denmark. The track of the exhibition venue has consisted of artificial turf since August 2018, where it replaced natural grass. In 2018, floodlights of 1,000 lux were installed at the exhibition field, so it was possible to show televised matches from the Danish Superliga. Stævnet
Stævnet ( da, the event or ''the meeting'') or Copenhagen XI were a Danish association football representative team which had its prime before 1970, however it was active until 1994. Stævnet participated in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, the precursor of UEFA Cup, in 1955–58, 1958–60, 1961–62, 1962–63 and 1963–64. The Copenhagen XI only competed in the above mentioned editions of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cups. All other tournaments involving a Copenhagen team were contested by individual clubs from Copenhagen. Usually Stævnet would feature players from its member clubs exclusively, but players were often borrowed from other Danish clubs. Valby Idrætspark
Valby Idrætspark is a multi-purpose stadium in Valby od Copenhagen, Denmark. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of Boldklubben Frem. Valby Idrætspark has hosted a total of nine Danish FA-recognized internationals. History Valby Idrætspark is located on the former Valby Common. It was first used for football in 1913. The lack of proper facilities for the football clubs were subject to discussions between Valby Boldspil and the City but plans to build a large club house went on hold with the outbreak of World War I. Københavns Idrætspark, in daily use Idrætsparken, also known as Parken, was a multi-purpose stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was initially used as the stadium of Denmark national football team and Kjøbenhavns Boldklub. It was replaced by the Parken Stadium in 1992. The capacity of the stadium was 48,000 spectators. The main stadium, the first fully enclosed ground in Denmark, opened on the 25 May 1911, with a capacity of 12000, with a football match between a Copenhagen XI and The Wednesday of England. Boldklubben 1908 (B.1908 for short) is a Danish football club based in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. The club's first team play in Denmark Series, the fifth tier of Danish football. Boldklubben Frem
Boldklubben Frem (also known as Frem, BK Frem or BK Frem Copenhagen) is a Danish sports club based in the Valby- Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. After the bankruptcy the club fought its way back to the top of Danish football, but in 2010 it went bankrupt again and was demoted to the Copenhagen Series—the fifth tier in the Danish league system. Sundby is a neighbourhood on Amager in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is often also referred to as Sundbyerne (plural form) since a distinction is traditionally made between Sundbyvester (Sundby West) and Sundbyøster (Sundby East), located on each their side of Amagerbrogade. Kløvermarken FB
Kløvermarken (the Clover Field) is a large green space in the Amager East district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally a military area, it has later been home to both Copenhagen's first air field and a camp for German refugees after World War II. It now features football pitches and other sports facilities as well as a nature centre for children. Kløvermarken is bounded by Uplandsgade, Raffinaderivej and Kløvermarksvej. The area between the park and Stadsgraven, the canal which separates Amager from Christianshavn, is dominated by allotments.
