Haziq Kasyful Azim Hasimulabdillah
Muhammad Haziq Kasyful Azim bin Mohammad Hasimulabdillah (born 24 December 1998) is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a defender or midfielder for Brunei Super League club Kasuka and the Brunei national team. Club career From 2013 to 2016, Haziq trained with Tabuan Muda, the youth scheme of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam, while playing for their league teams in the 2015 Brunei Premier League and the 2016 Brunei Super League consecutively. He moved to Menglait FC in the 2017–18 Brunei Super League season, finishing in tenth place out of 11, ending in relegation. He played for Kasuka FC at the start of the following season. At the start of 2019, Haziq was one of 24 youth players unveiled as the squad members for the return of DPMM FC to the Bruneian leagues, starting from the 2018–19 Brunei Premier League. The 2017–18 Brunei Super League (also known as the DST Super League for sponsorship reasons) was the 5th season of the Brunei Super League, the top Bruneian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2012. The season began on 22 April 2017. The Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council came into the season as defending champions of the 2016 season. The men's football tournament at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games was held from 14 to 29 August in Malaysia in August 2017. The 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualification was an international men's under-23 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship. A total of 16 teams qualified to play in the final tournament, including China PR who qualified automatically as hosts. 2022 Brunei FA Cup
The 2022 Brunei FA Cup was the 13th edition of the Brunei FA Cup and was the sole club competition organised by the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam for the year 2022. It began on August 6 and will be played until 4 December. The winner of the FA Cup will become the nation's representative for the 2023–24 AFC Cup. DPMM FC became the winners of the competition by beating Kasuka FC 2–1 in the final at Track & Field Sports Complex on 4 December. This is DPMM's second FA Cup triumph after last winning it in 2004. 2021 Brunei Super League
The 2021 Brunei Super League is the seventh season of the Brunei Super League, the top Bruneian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2012. The season began on 20 June. On 7 August, the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) announced the suspension of the league due to restrictions reimposed by the presence of local COVID-19 infections announced by the Ministry of Health on the same day. On 30 November, the FABD announced that the league will be abandoned due to the constraints caused by the pandemic, in order to prepare for a new competition to be held the following year.
