''Have a Nice Life'' is the ninth studio album by American rapper Murs. The album was released on May 18, 2015, by Strange Music. Critical reception Upon its release, ''Have a Nice Life'' received generally positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 75 based on 5 reviews, which indicates "generally favorable reviews". Andrew Gretchko of HipHopDX said, "And while some may be upset that Murs isn’t the unruly rapper he once was, he’s managed to craft a project that remains true while growing up enough to talk about life in a radiant, maturity tinged glow." Nicholas Neil Carter (born March 16, 1978), better known by his stage name Murs, is an American rapping, rapper. His name is an acronym (or backronym) for which he himself has created multiple meanings, such as "Making the Universe Recognize and Submit" or "Making Underground Raw Shit." Murs is a former member of the rap group Living Legends (group), Living Legends, along with Luckyiam, Sunspot Jonz, The Grouch (rapper), The Grouch, Scarub, Eligh, Aesop, Bicasso and Arata. Ces Cru (often stylized as CES Cru) is an American rap duo from Kansas City, Missouri, signed to independent record label Strange Music. The duo currently consists of members Donnie "Godemis" King and Mike "Ubiquitous" Viglione, but has had numerous members throughout the years. Ces Cru released their debut album ''Capture Enemy Soldiers'' in 2004. They went on to release ''Cesphiles, Vol. 1 Codename:irongiant'' (2008) and ''The Playground'' (2009). In 2010, the duo signed to Tech N9ne's record label Strange Music and have released the EP '' 13'' (2012) and ''Recession Proof'' (2015). Felt is an American hip hop duo, consisting of Slug (rapper), Slug of Atmosphere (music group), Atmosphere and Murs (rapper), Murs of Living Legends (group), Living Legends. Earl Tywone Stevens Sr. (born November 15, 1967), better known by his stage name E-40, is an American rapper. He is a founding member of the rap group The Click, and the founder of Sick Wid It Records. He has released 26 studio albums to date, appeared on numerous movie soundtracks, and has also done guest appearances on a host of other rap albums. Weighted Mean
The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several other areas of mathematics. If all the weights are equal, then the weighted mean is the same as the arithmetic mean. Standard Score
In statistics, the standard score is the number of standard deviations by which the value of a raw score (i.e., an observed value or data point) is above or below the mean value of what is being observed or measured. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review.
