Haryanvi cinema, is the Haryanvi language film industry in the state of Haryana in India. History ''Chandrawal'', released in 1984 was the first financially successful Haryanvi film. ''Laado'', released in 2000, another successful film starring Ashutosh Rana and directed by Ashwini Chaudhary, won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director at the National Film Awards. This was the first time a Haryanvi movie won a national award. ''Pagdi The Honour'', released in 2014, received two National Film Awards at the 62nd National Film Awards. Haryanvi Language
Haryanvi ( ' or '), also known as Bangru, is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in the state of Haryana in India, and to a lesser extent in Delhi. Haryanvi is considered to be part of the dialect group of Western Hindi, which also includes Khariboli and Braj. It is written in the Devanagari script. In popular culture Bollywood films like Dangal, Sultan, and Tanu Weds Manu: Returns have used the Haryanvi culture and language as the backdrop of their films. Baljinder Kaur
Baljinder Kaur is an Indian actress who has appeared in Haryanvi, Hindi and Tamil films. Career Kaur was born and brought up in the village of Bhondian near Bhogpur, Punjab.
