Satyajeet Puri (Hindi: सत्यजीत पूरी; born 25 September 1960) is an Indian actor working in the Hindi film industry. He started his career as a child artist with Satyen Bose-directed ''Mere Lal'', released in 1966. Personal life Satyajeet Puri, son of actor-director Daljeet Puri graduated from Mithibai College. He is married to a Sindhi lady, Rita, and the couple has two children. His younger sister is married to actor-director Puneet Issar. Career Satyajeet, a popular child star in the 70s, has been a part of some wonderful films. His debut film is ''Mere Lal'' released in 1966. Some of his earlier films are ''Wapas'' (1969) and ''Khilona'' (1970). Jugnu (1973 Film)
''Jugnu'' () is a 1973 Indian Hindi-language action film produced and directed by Pramod Chakravorty. The story is about an extremely intelligent crook with a "Golden" heart (Dharmendra), who has the remarkable ability to steal from the most protected setups. The movie also stars Hema Malini, Lalita Pawar, Mehmood, Prem Chopra, Nazir Hussain, Ajit and Pran. The music is by S. D. Burman and the lyrics by Anand Bakshi. The film features a popular dialogue written by Sachin Bhowmick, "Baap ke naam kaa sahara kamzor log lete hai", Meaning: "The weak seek to be known by their father's reputation", which was said on two occasions by Dharmendra and Pran. Anuraag (1973 Film)
''Anuraag'' is a 1972 Indian Hindi-language drama film, directed by Shakti Samanta. The film stars Moushumi Chatterjee in her debut as a heroine and Vinod Mehra in lead roles. The Shakti Samanta fixture Rajesh Khanna, having earlier made ''Aradhana (1969 film), Aradhana'' (1969) and ''Kati Patang'' with Samanta, makes a special appearance. The music is by S. D. Burman. Initially, Shakti Samanta was thinking whether to make this film or not as he was not sure if the distributors would buy a film with such a story line and had shared the idea with Rajesh Khanna, who encouraged Samanta and volunteered to make an extended appearance for the film, and also distributed the film under the banner "Shakti-Raj" (indicating Shakti Samanta and Rajesh Khanna). ''Shor'' (''Translation: Noise'') is a 1972 Indian Hindi movie written, produced and directed by Manoj Kumar, who also plays the lead role in the film. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Osai''. Satyen Bose
Satyen Bose (22 January 1916 – 9 June 1993) was a film director from India. He has directed both Bengali language, Bengali and Hindi language films. Among his most notable films are ''Raat Aur Din, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, Dosti'', and ''Jagriti''. ''Jagriti'' won the Filmfare Best Movie Award in 1956 and ''Dosti'' won the same award in 1964.
