Harry Finch (cricketer)
Harry Zacariah Finch (born 10 February 1995) is an English cricketer who plays for Kent County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium-fast. Finch played for Sussex between 2013 and 2020 before signing for Kent in 2021, initially on a short-term contract. Finch was part of age-group sides at Sussex from the age of 10 and made his senior debut in a List A match against the Netherlands on 20 May 2013. Hastings
Hastings () is a large seaside town and borough in East Sussex on the south coast of England, east to the county town of Lewes and south east of London. The town gives its name to the Battle of Hastings, which took place to the north-west at Senlac Hill in 1066. It later became one of the medieval Cinque Ports. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Sussex Cricket Board
The Sussex Cricket Board is the former governing body for all recreational cricket in the historic county of Sussex. On 1 November 2015, the Sussex Cricket Board (SCB) merged with Sussex County Cricket Club (SCCC) to form a single governing body for cricket in Sussex, called Sussex Cricket Limited (SCL). MCCA Trophy
The National Counties Cricket Association Knockout Cup was started in 1983 as a knockout one-day competition for the National Counties in English cricket. At first it was known as the ''English Industrial Estates Cup'', before being called the ''Minor Counties Knock Out Competition'' from 1986 to 1987, the ''Holt Cup'' from 1988 to 1992, the ''MCC Trophy'' from 1993 to 1998, the ''ECB 38-County Cup'' from 1999 to 2002, the ''MCCA Knockout Trophy'' from 2003 to 2005. It has been called the ''MCCA Trophy'' since 2006 until its current rebranding in 2020. From 1998 to 2002, the competition was contested by 38 teams and included a group stage. The Yarraville Oval is an Australian rules football and cricket ground located on the corner of Williamstown Road and Anderson Street in Yarraville, Victoria. It is currently the home ground of the Yarraville/Seddon Eagles Football Club and the Yarraville Cricket Club. The ground was most notable as the home of the Yarraville Football Club throughout almost its entire existence in both the Victorian Junior Football Association from 1903 until 1927, and then in the Victorian Football Association from 1928 until 1982; the club played its games at the Western Oval in its final season in 1983.
