Harris Horatius
Harris Horatius (born October 11, 1995) is a wushu taolu athlete from Indonesia. Career Senior Horatius' first major debut was at the 2015 SEA Games where he won the gold medal in nanquan and nangun combined. Four years later, he won a gold medal in duilian with Edgar Xavier Marvelo and Seraf Naro Siregar and a bronze medal in nangun at the 2019 World Wushu Championships. A few months later, he competed in the 2019 SEA Games where he won another gold medal in duilian and silver medals in nanquan and nandao/nangun combined. After the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Horatius competed in the 2021 SEA Games held in May 2022 where he won a silver medal in nanquan and a bronze medal in nangun. Shortly after, he won the silver medal in nanquan/nangun combined at the 2022 World Games. A year later, he won the silver medal in nandao and nangun combined at the 2023 SEA Games. 2023 World Wushu Championships
The 2023 World Wushu Championships was the 16th edition of the World Wushu Championships. It was held at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas, United States, from November 16 to 20, 2023. Development and preparation Selection process During the 2019 World Wushu Championships in Shanghai, China, the 15th IWUF Congress met to vote on the host city for the 16th WWC. At the conclusion of the competition, it was announced that the next edition of the world championships would be held in 2021 in Dallas, Texas, United States. This would mark the first time a major international wushu competition was held in the United States since the 1995 World Wushu Championships. The competition will be organized by the United States of America Wushu Kungfu Federation (USAWKF) under Anthony Goh. Seraf Naro Siregar
Seraf Naro Siregar (born September 17, 2001) is a professional wushu taolu athlete from Indonesia. Career Senior Siregar's international debut was at the 2019 World Wushu Championships where he won a gold medal in duilian with Edgar Xavier Marvelo and Harris Horatius. They repeated this victory shortly thereafter at the 2019 SEA Games. After the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Siregar's first major competition was the 2021 SEA Games (hosted in 2022) where he won a gold medal in daoshu and gunshu combined along with a bronze medal in changquan. A year later at the 2023 SEA Games, he won a bronze medal in men's daoshu and gunshu combined. Siregar then achieved the same result in the same event at the 2022 Asian Games a few months later. Edgar Xavier Marvelo
Edgar Xavier Marvelo (born December 16, 1998) is a Wushu (sport), wushu taolu athlete from Indonesia. He is a three-time world champion as well as a medalist at the Asian Games and the Southeast Asian Games. Career Junior Marvelo began practicing wushu at the age of six. During his youth, he won a gold medal in gunshu at the 2010 World Junior Wushu Championships respectively. He won a gold medal at the 2014 ASEAN School Games and a year later in 2015, Marvelo was the Indonesian youth national champion. Senior Marvelo's first major international appearance was at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games where he won a bronze medal in the men’s changquan event. He then debuted at the 2017 World Wushu Championships where he won a silver medal in men’s daoshu. The 2015 Southeast Asian Games ( ms, Sukan Asia Tenggara 2015; ; ta, 2015 தென்கிழக்கு ஆசிய விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள்), officially known as the 28th Southeast Asian Games, or the 28th SEA Games, and commonly known as Singapore 2015, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held by the city-state of Singapore from 5 to 16 June 2015, It was the fourth time the country hosted the games. Asian Wushu Championships
The Asian Wushu Championships is a continental wushu championship hosted by the Wushu Federation of Asia (WFA), the official continental representative to the International Wushu Federation. The competition is open to the 37 member nations of the WFA and their respective national teams. Unlike other continental wushu competitions which are held every two years, the Asian Wushu Championships is held every four years to make way for wushu at the Asian Games. World Junior Wushu Championships
The World Junior Wushu Championships (WJWC) is an international wushu competition organized by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) for competitors below 18 years of age. 2022 ASEAN University Games officially the 20th ASEAN University Games and also known as Ubon Ratchathani 2022 is a regional multi-sport event held from 26 July to 6 August 2022 in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. Originally planned to take place from 13 to 22 December 2020, it was eventually rescheduled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2018 ASEAN University Games, officially known as the 19th ASEAN University Games, was a Southeast Asian university multi-sports event which was held in Myanmar from 8 December 2018 to 19 December 2018. This was the first time Myanmar hosted the ASEAN University Games.
