Nissum Bredning
Nissum Bredning is the westernmost ''bredning'' in the Limfjord situated between Thyborøn Channel, through which the fjord is connected to the North Sea, and Oddesund with Oddesund Bridge. Its size is around 200 km2 and the depth is up to 6 meters. The length from east to west is about 24 km, and from south ''Gjeller Odde'' to the north ''Røjensø Odde'' is about 10 kilometer; from here it continues as Krik Vig to the north. To the west, at Thyborøn and Harboøre Tange, there are some sandbanks, ''Fjordgrund'' and ''Gåseholm''. There is a navigable channel ''Sælhundeholm Løb'', going south from the channel along Agger Tange, passing Rønland with the chemical factory Cheminova, where it turns east. At the south end of Harboøre Tange is the town Harboøre, from here the coast turns to the east and a bit south. Lemvig Municipality
Lemvig is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Midtjylland on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in west Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 516.63 km2, and has a population of 20,657 (1 January 2015). Its mayor is Erik Flyvholm, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Lemvig. The town has a population of 6,966. The current municipality was enlarged on January 1, 2007 as the result of ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007) when the former Thyborøn-Harboøre municipality was merged into the existing Lemvig municipality. A significant part of its southern border is defined by the waters of Bøvling Fjord, Indfjorden and Nissum Fjord. Lemvig Railway Line
The Lemvig Line ( da, Lemvigbanen or ''Vemb-Lemvig-Thyborøn Jernbane'' (''VLTJ'')) is a local railway line in Northwest Jutland, Denmark. Established in 1879, the line extends from Vemb via Lemvig to Thyborøn. The single-track line is mostly level, and is operated with a fleet of five double-unit Y-train railcars. VLTJ has its own workshop and servicing facilities on the line. Operating company Until 1 January 2008, the line was operated by the company Vemb-Lemvig-Thyborøn Jernbane A/S, which has been merged with Odderbanen's operating company to form Midtjyske Jernbaner. The railway was used to test a prototype hydrogen-powered train in 2010. Popular culture The railway achieved fame in Denmark, when the band in 1985 wrote the song "VLTJ" describing a trip with the railway. This song later achieved cult status. Central Denmark Region
The Central Denmark Region ( da, Region Midtjylland), or more directly translated as the Central Jutland Region and sometimes simply Mid Jutland, is an administrative region of Denmark established on 1 January 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish municipal reform. The reform abolished the traditional counties (''amter'') and replaced them with five new administrative regions. At the same time, smaller municipalities were merged into larger units, cutting the total number of municipalities from 271 to 98. The reform diminished the power of the regional level dramatically in favour of the local level and the national government in Copenhagen. The Central Denmark Region comprises 19 municipalities.
