Harbhajan Maan
Harbhajan Singh Mann (born 30 December 1965) is an Indian-Canadian singer, actor and film producer associated with Punjabi music and cinema. His movies include ''Jee Aayan Nu (2002)'', ''Asa Nu Mann Watnan Da (2004)'', ''Heer Ranjha (2009)'' and '' Jag Jeondeyan De Mele (2009)''. Career Mann was born in the Khemuana village, located in the Bathinda district of Punjab, India. He is of Sikh origin. Mann began singing as an amateur in 1980, and performed in local shows for the South Asian community while attending high school in Canada. His beginnings as a professional artist can be traced to 1992, while he was in Punjab. Mann realized that the market for Punjabi music in Canada was small, and he returned to Punjab to record his albums. ''Mera Pind'' (English: ''My village'') is a Punjabi film released on 20 September 2008, directed and produced Manmohan Singh. The film stars Harbhajan Mann, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Kimi Verma and Gurpreet Ghuggi. Plot Mera Pind is the story of a well-to-do Non-resident Indian Navjot Singh sidhu, who is played by Navjot Sidhu, who has chosen to settle in his native village and spread the message of empowerment and entrepreneurship among the village youth. Led by Himmat, played by Harbhajan Maan, the youth set off a revolution in the development of the village. The story inspires Punjabis who are increasingly opting to settle abroad, to undertake business in their own villages and cities. Gurdas Mann
Gurdas Maan is an Indian playback singer, songwriter and actor mainly associated with Punjabi and Hindi language music and films. He gained national attention in 1980 with the song "Dil Da Mamla Hai". Since then, he had gone on to record over 34 albums and had written over 305 songs. In 2015 he performed on the song "Ki Banu Dunia Da" with Diljit Dosanjh in MTV Coke studio India that was aired in season 4 episode 5 (16 August 2015) on MTV India. Surjit Bindrakhia (born Surjit Bains; 15 April 1962 – 17 November 2003) was a singer from Punjab, India. He was known for his unique voice and hekh, in which he sings a note continuously in one breath. Tigerstyle is a Scottish folkhop group from Glasgow with a British Punjabi background.
