Hanti Station
Hanti Station is a station on the Bundang Line, a commuter rail line of Korail. The name of this station is taken from that of a former village in the vicinity, and has meaning "great hill" in the native Korean language. Daechi (大峙), the neighborhood in which the station is located, is the Chinese translation of this name. Prior to opening, this station was tentatively known as Yeongdong Station. Daechi-dong
Daechi-dong is an affluent ''neighborhood'' in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Daechi-dong is divided into three different “dongs” which are Daechi 1-dong, 2-dong, and 4-dong. Daechi-dong is predominantly considered the residential area of Gangnam. As a result, real estate in the area is highly competitive and expensive compared to other parts of Gangnam. The Yangjaecheon is a stream that runs through the heart of Daechi-dong. Name and History The name Daechi-dong came from the Chinese form of Hanti Town which meant a town below a big hill. Daechi-dong had a lot of names. Just after the Joseon Dynasty, it was referred to as Unju-myeon, and was administered as a part of Gwangju-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Bundang Line
The Bundang Line or Seoul Metropolitan Subway Bundang Line (Sudogwon Jeoncheol Bundangseon 수도권 전철 분당선) was a commuter rail line of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway in the Seoul Capital Area operated by Korail. Also it refers physical railway track from Wangsimni to Suwon which is designated by MOLIT. The name 'Bundang Line' refers to the fact that the line was originally constructed for the new planned town of Bundang. The line service started in central eastern Seoul at Cheongnyangni, crossing Gangnam District and connecting the cities of Seongnam and Yongin, and terminates at Suwon Station. While the track 'Bundang Line' designated by MOLIT is from Wangsimni to Suwon.
