Hannam Station
Hannam Station is a station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. It is located on the northwestern end of the Hannam Bridge, overlooking the Han River. It was also called Dankook University Station until 2007, when Dankook University moved the majority of its campus to the suburban city of Yongin. The neighborhood of Hannam-dong is home to various nations' embassies in Korea, and many can be accessed from this station, with the closest being the embassy of Slovakia. Hannam-dong
Hannam-dong is a '' dong'', neighbourhood of Yongsan-gu in Seoul, South Korea. One of the most affluent neighborhoods in the country, it has been portrayed continuously in South Korea's popular culture as a wealthy and luxurious spot, and for this it has been the subject of domestic films, television series, and Korean pop music. Initially not included within the Yongsan ward, during the Japanese colonial period it was a small hamlet called Han River Village (한강리/) within the Hanji township (한지면/), Goyang County (고양군/) and lying close to the Han River. Being right across the river from the Gangnam area of Seoul and its proximity to locations in northern Seoul makes the neighborhood centrally located in Seoul. Seoul Metropolitan Subway Stations
Although each station of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway differs, most share certain characteristics. Stations range in size, from tiny local stations to large transportation hubs. Subway exit/entrances Outside each station, entrances are marked with a tall obelisk that has the station's name and station number printed on it below a small subway logo. Inside the station exits are marked with the uniquely translated "Way Out" and is assigned a number, depicted on signs in black with a black circle around the number. Oksu Station
Oksu Station is a station on the Line 3 and the Gyeongui–Jungang Line. It is located near the confluence of the Han and Jungnang Rivers. The Line 3 part of Oksu Station is one of four stations on Line 3 not underground (The others are Jichuk, Wondang, and Daegok). The Yongsan-Deokso Line part was recently renovated with a glass-covered top which lets in sunlight. Because of its beautiful view of the Han River, it is often seen in movies and advertisements. Jipyeong Station
Jipyeong Station is a station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is the eastern terminus of the commuter railway, running from Seoul to Yangpyeong County. Munsan Station
Munsan Station is a railway station on the Gyeongui Line. It is notable for being the closest station on the Seoul Metropolitan Subway to the border with North Korea that is open for passenger service, only a few kilometers away. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. A station having dual side platforms, one for each direction of travel, is the basic design used for double-track railway lines (as opposed to, for instance, the island platform where a single platform lies between the tracks). Yongin () is a city in the Seoul Capital Area, the largest in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
