Handewitt
Handewitt ( da, Hanved) is a municipality in the district of Schleswig-Flensburg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated near the border with Denmark, approx. 7 km west of Flensburg. Handball The Handball-Bundesliga team SG Flensburg-Handewitt is extremely successful. It has won the EHF Cup in 1997, in 2001 and 2012 the EHF Cup Winners' Cup, DHB-Pokal in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2015, the German championship in 2004, 2018 and 2019, and 2014 the EHF Champions League. SG Flensburg-Handewitt is a professional handball club from Flensburg and Handewitt in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Currently, they compete in the Handball-Bundesliga and EHF European League. The Men's EHF Champions League is the most important club handball competition for men's teams in Europe and involves the leading teams from the top European nations. The competition is organised every year by EHF. The official name for the men's competition is the EHF Champions League Men.
