Hancock is a census-designated place (CDP) and the main village in the town of Hancock in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. The population of the CDP was 213 at the 2020 census, out of 1,731 in the entire town. Geography The CDP is in the center of the town of Hancock and covers the compact village center as well as adjacent Norway Pond. Starting on the west side, the CDP follows Depot Road north past Norway Pond to Moose Brook, runs east along the brook then south to exclude the town recreation field, then heads northeast along Evergreen Hill Road. The east border of the CDP is east of Wilder Road but west of Antrim Road and Stearns Road. The south border of the CDP crosses Forest Road and follows Old Hancock Road and Main Street back to Depot Road. New Hampshire Route 123
New Hampshire Route 123 (abbreviated NH 123) is a secondary north–south state highway in southwestern New Hampshire. The southern terminus of the route is at the Massachusetts state line in Mason where, as Mason Road, the road continues as an unnumbered local road in the town of Townsend. The northern terminus, as signed, is at the Connecticut River, where the highway continues west for to U.S. Route 5 in Westminster, Vermont, as Vermont Route 123 (VT 123). Route logs, however, place the terminus at New Hampshire Route 12 in Walpole. Bennington is a census-designated place (CDP) and the main village in the town of Bennington in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. The population of the CDP was 338 at the 2020 census, out of 1,501 in the entire town. Geography The CDP is in the western part of the town of Bennington, primarily on the east side of the Contoocook River at its Great Falls, which drop over after flowing out of Powder Mill Pond.
