Halton Healthcare
Halton Healthcare (Halton Healthcare Services Corporation) is a regional healthcare organization located in the Greater Toronto Area. It is composed of three community hospitals in Ontario, Canada. It serves the communities of Milton, Oakville, and Halton Hills. The three hospitals serves a community of over 350,000 people. As at 2017/18, Halton Healthcare has 4,022 staff, 1,750 volunteers and 350 physicians. It falls within the boundaries of the Mississauga-Halton Local Health Integration Network. The Greater Toronto Area, commonly referred to as the GTA, includes the City of Toronto and the regional municipalities of Durham, Halton, Peel, and York. In total, the region contains 25 urban, suburban, and rural municipalities. The Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital is a full-service acute care community hospital located at 3001 Hospital Gate in Oakville, Ontario. It offers a comprehensive range of primary and secondary care services in addition to some tertiary services. It is operated by Halton Healthcare, an organization which also operates Georgetown Hospital and Milton District Hospital.
