Halftime Heat
''Halftime Heat'' was a series of professional wrestling broadcasts produced by WWE used as Super Bowl counterprogramming. They aired during their respective year's halftime of the Super Bowl. History Originally produced under the World Wrestling Federation banner (WWF), ''Halftime Heat'' aired during a 20-minute block on USA Network during Super Bowl XXXIII in 1999, as a special episode of '' Sunday Night Heat''. The inaugural ''Halftime Heat'' featured an Empty arena match between The Rock and Mankind. The match was also accompanied by a Super Bowl ad purchased by the WWF, tying into their Attitude Era branding. During the match, Mankind won his second WWF Championship. NXT is a WWE brand extension, brand of the American professional wrestling Professional wrestling promotion, promotion WWE that was introduced on February 23, 2010. Brands are divisions of WWE's roster where wrestlers are assigned to perform on a weekly basis when a brand extension is in effect. James William Ross (born January 3, 1952) is an American professional wrestling commentator currently signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a commentator, analyst, and senior advisor. Ross is best known for a long and distinguished career as a play-by-play commentator for the WWE. He is known affectionately as JR or Good Ol' JR. Austin Kirk Jenkins (born July 5, 1989) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he performs under the ring name Adam Cole. Patrick Clark Jr. (born August 19, 1995) is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his time in WWE where he performed under the ring name Velveteen Dream. Clark began his professional wrestling career in 2014, when he debuted in the Maryland Championship Wrestling promotion where he trained. During his time there, he won the MCW Tag Team Championship with Lio Rush. After competing in several other independent promotions, Clark participated in the WWE's reality show Tough Enough, a series focused on finding new wrestlers for WWE.
