HKRI Taikoo Hui
HKRI Taikoo Hui () is a mixed use development on West Nanjing Road in Shanghai, China. It comprises two office towers, a large retail mall, 102 serviced apartments and a 111-room hotel called The Middle House. In late 2017, Starbucks opened a Reserve Roastery at the project, the largest Starbucks branch in the world at the time. Location HKRI Taikoo Hui is located in central Jing'an District on the busy shopping street of Nanjing Road. It accessible by foot from a large transport interchange on the Shanghai metro, where lines 2, 12 and 13 converge. The shopping centre is also located close to Yan'an Elevated Road and the North-South Elevated Road, two of Shanghai's major highways. Jing'an District
Jing'an District () is one of the central districts of Shanghai. In 2014, it had 1,180,000 inhabitants in an area of . The district borders the Hongkou District to the east, Huangpu District to the east and south, Putuo District to the west, Baoshan District to the north and Changning District to the west. On 4 November 2015 Zhabei District merged with Jing'an District, bringing Shanghai down to 15 districts and one county. Jing'an District is named after Jing'an Temple, an ancient traditional Chinese Buddhist temple. Today's temple is a new replica of the old one, located in the southern part of the district. Yan'an Elevated Road
Yan'an Elevated Road () is an elevated expressway in the city of Shanghai, China. It runs along Yan'an Road in its entirety, continuing from the east terminus of G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway at Huqingping Interchange (close to Hongqiao International Airport) to just beyond the old building of Shanghai Natural History Museum, at which point it ends and rejoins Yan'an Road on the surface. Traffic is then partly directed underground to the Bund Tunnel (completed 2010). Motorists continuing east can cross the Huangpu River using the East Yan'an Road Tunnel to Pudong. The maximum speed on the expressway is 80 km/h. Construction on the first portion of the elevated roadway, from the Inner Ring Road to Hongqiao Airport, began on 28 November 1995 and was completed on 2 December 1996.
