Swire Properties Limited () is a property developer, owner and operator of mixed-use, principally commercial properties in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Founded and headquartered in Hong Kong in 1972, Swire Properties is a major property developer in Hong Kong, and is listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. One Island East is a skyscraper in Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Overview The skyscraper is a commercial office building, rising 298.35 m (979 ft) and has 69 storeys plus two levels of basement. There is a sky lobby on the 37th and 38th floors. In addition, there are 28 high-speed passenger lifts, six high-speed shuttle lifts between Main (G - 1/F) and Sky (37 - 38/F) lobbies, one passenger lift between the main lobby and basement carpark and two service lifts. One Island East was built under the first use of the Land (Compulsory Sale for Redevelopment) Ordinance (Cap 545), exercised by Swire in 2000. Cityplaza
Cityplaza () is an office and shopping development, developed by Swire Properties, at 18 Taikoo Shing Road, Taikoo Shing, Hong Kong. It is adjacent to Taikoo Place, another office complex developed by Swire. The six-level shopping centre, connected to Tai Koo station, houses more than 170 shops, restaurants, a cinema and an indoor ice rink. In 2018, Swire Properties sold two of the office towers, previously Cityplaza 3 and 4, to Hengli Group and real estate investors Gaw Capital Partners. HKRI Taikoo Hui () is a mixed use development on West Nanjing Road in Shanghai, China. It comprises two office towers, a large retail mall, 102 serviced apartments and a 111-room hotel called The Middle House. In late 2017, Starbucks opened a Reserve Roastery at the project, the largest Starbucks branch in the world at the time.
