Guelph Central Station
Guelph Central Station (also known as Guelph Central GO Station) is the main inter-modal transportation terminal in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. It is used by VIA Rail and GO Transit trains, as well as Guelph Transit local buses, GO Transit regional buses and intercity buses. It is located at 79 Carden Street and includes the historic Guelph Railway Station, as well as the site of the former Guelph Bus Terminal. History GTR station The current station building was built in 1911 by the Grand Trunk Railway, which had been serving Guelph since 1856. In addition to serving regional trains, in the pre-Amtrak era, it served the Grand Trunk Western's ''Maple Leaf'' (Chicago - Toronto). Guelph
Guelph ( ; 2021 Canadian Census population 143,740) is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Known as "The Royal City", Guelph is roughly east of Kitchener and west of Downtown Toronto, at the intersection of Highway 6, Highway 7 and Wellington County Road 124. It is the seat of Wellington County, but is politically independent of it. Guelph began as a settlement in the 1820s, established by Scotsman John Galt, who was in Upper Canada as the first Superintendent of the Canada Company. York Mills GO Bus Terminal is located at 4023 Yonge Street, near the northeast corner of York Mills Road, in the North York area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The terminal mainly supports GO Transit's bus services east and west across the Highway 401 corridor and is adjacent to York Mills station on the Yonge-University-Spadina line of the Toronto Subway. Location The bus station is on the ground floor of York Mills Centre, Building 4, constructed by York-Trillium Development Group Limited in 1992. Sarnia is a city in Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. It had a 2021 population of 72,047, and is the largest city on Lake Huron. Kitchener station is a railway station located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, slightly to the northeast of downtown Kitchener, at 126 Weber Street West, near the corner of Victoria Street. It is a heritage building containing a waiting room and ticket counter built beside a set of tracks also used as a freight yard. Georgetown GO Station
Georgetown GO Station is a railway station in Georgetown, Ontario, Canada. It is served by GO Transit's Kitchener line and Via Rail's Toronto-Sarnia trains. It is located west of Mountainview Road North at 55 Queen Street. History The station was constructed between 1855 and 1856 by the Grand Trunk Railway, designed by the GTR chief engineer Francis Thompson and built by Casimir Gzowski. It was enlarged in 1892 and its interior and exterior were remodeled in 1904. Among the 1892 and 1904 modifications were the corner tower and operator's bay window.
