Gil Grand
Gil Grand (born Gilles Lagrandeur, January 8, 1968) is a Canadian country music singer. Since 1998, he has released three studio albums: '' Famous First Words'' (1998), ''Burnin'' (2002) and ''Somebody's Someone'' (2006). He has charted several singles on the Canadian country singles charts as well, including the ''RPM'' top ten single " Famous First Words" in 1998. Career In 1998, Grand signed a record deal with Monument Records' Nashville division. His debut album, '' Famous First Words'', helped him receive three Canadian Country Music Awards nominations including Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and Wrangler Rising Star. ''Burnin'' was released in December 2002. "Cry A Little," "Break It to Them Gently," "Run" and the title track were all released as singles. Greater Sudbury
Sudbury, officially the City of Greater Sudbury is the largest city in Northern Ontario by population, with a population of 166,004 at the 2021 Canadian Census. Wrangler Jeans
Wrangler is an American manufacturer of jeans and other clothing items, particularly workwear. The brand is owned by Kontoor Brands Inc., which also owns Lee. Its headquarters is in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, in the United States, with production plants in a variety of locations throughout the world. History Wrangler Jeans were first made by the Blue Bell Overall Company, which had acquired the brand when it took over Casey Jones in the mid-1940s. Blue Bell employed Bernard Lichtenstein ("Rodeo Ben"), a Polish tailor from Łódź who worked closely with cowboys, to help design jeans suitable for rodeo use. Franco-Ontarians (french: Franco-Ontariens or if female, sometimes known as ''Ontarois'' and ''Ontaroises'') are Francophone Canadians that reside in the province of Ontario. The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) was founded in 1976 as the Academy of Country Music Entertainment to organize, promote and develop a Canadian country music industry. The groundwork for the association began on June 3rd, 1973 when a group of twelve entertainers, promoters and radio personalities met at The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, Ontario and formed a Board of Directors to help promote Canadian content. Jake Mathews (born Jacques Lagrandeur born March 14, 1971 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian country music singer, songwriter and performer. Career Jake's self-titled debut CD (''Jake Mathews'') garnered six nationally charted hits: "I’ll Do You One Better," "Try Again Tomorrow," "That's How Long," "Rush," "I’m Gone" and "There Ain't No Such Thing." His second CD, ''Time After Time'', released in 2004, was voted Best Album by Country Music News.
