Gallup Pakistan
Gallup Pakistan, affiliated to Gallup International Association, is a research organization located in Pakistan. It was established in 1980 by experts trained at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University and Wharton School of Business. It is now considered one of the country’s largest and oldest research institutions. It is not related to The Gallup Organization. Each year Gallup Pakistan conducts several high profile studies for the Government of Pakistan and international agencies. The Gallup International Association (GIA) is an association of polling organizations registered in Zurich, Switzerland. The Gallup International Association was founded in 1947 in Loxwood Hall, Sussex, UK. Dr. George H. Gallup served as its first President, until his death in 1984. 2013 Pakistani General Election
General elections were held in Pakistan on Saturday 11 May 2013 to elect the members of the 14th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties were the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) led by Nawaz Sharif, the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) led by President Asif Ali Zardari and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan.
