Guthorm Hallager
Guthorm Hallager (1864-1932) was a Norwegian civil servant and lawyer. He served as the County Governor of Telemark county from 1910 until 1932. He was the son of law professor and Supreme Court judge Georg Frederik Hallager. Hallager received his cand.jur. degree in 1886. In 1888, he became deputy magistrate and later became the town clerk in Kragerø. He was then employed in the Ministry of Justice in 1889. In 1894, he was named a royal plenipotentiary. From 1895 to 1898 he was Norwegian secretary in the third union committee. Hallager was appointed county governor for Telemark county from 1910 to 1932 (the county was named Bratsberg from 1910 to 1918). He was a knight of the first class of the Order of St. Olav. Olaf Hegland
Olaf Hegland (1885–1939) was a Norwegian civil servant and lawyer. He served as the County Governor of Telemark county from 1933 until 1938. In 1908, Hegland passed his legal civil service examination. In 1922, he became a lawyer. In 1910, he was hired as deputy public prosecutor and deputy city bailiff in Kristiansand. In 1913, he started working with the magistrate in Vest-Telemark. Also in 1913, he started working as an attorney with lawyer Didrik Cappelen in Kviteseid. In 1916, he became a partner in Cappelen's law firm, which he completely took over in 1918. In Kviteseid, Hegland was also involved in local politics for the Liberal Party. Viggo Ullmann
Johan Christian Viggo Ullmann (21 December 1848 – 30 August 1910) was a Norwegian educator and politician with Venstre, the Norwegian social-liberal party. He was the son of the author Vilhelmine Ullmann, brother of the feminist Ragna Nielsen and the great grandfather of actress Liv Ullmann. Norway's first social doctor was his grandchild, also named Viggo Ullmann (Lillehammer, 1920–). Alexander Lange Kielland (; 18 February 1849 – 6 April 1906) was a Norwegian realistic writer of the 19th century. He is one of the so-called "The Four Greats" of Norwegian literature, along with Henrik Ibsen, Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson and Jonas Lie. Kragerø (town)
Kragerø () is a town and municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. It is part of the traditional regions of Grenland and the smaller Vestmar. Kunnskapsforlaget () is a Norwegian publishing company based in Oslo. Kunnskapsforlaget was established in 1975, as a partnership between H. Aschehoug & Co. (W. Nygaard) and Gyldendal Norsk Forlag.
