Gustavo Da Conceição
Gustavo Dias Vaz da Conceição (born 8 March 1957 in Luanda) is a former Angolan basketball player. Conceição, a small forward, competed for Angola at the 1980 Africa Basketball championship, an event that marked Angola's debut in the African competition arena and at the 1986 FIBA World Championship. He is a brother of Angola senior police officer Fernando Torres Vaz da Conceição aka Mussolo and of Aldemiro Justino de Aguiar Vaz da Conceição, a longtime spokesman for the President and now the President's secretary for Regional Affairs. From December 2004 to December 2012, he served two terms as chairman of the Angolan Basketball Federation. As of May, 2005, Gustavo da Conceição has been serving a second term as chairman of the Angolan Olympic Committee. Small Forward
The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. They are strategic and are often relied upon to score, defend, create open lanes, and rebound for their team. The small forward is considered to be perhaps the most versatile of the five main basketball positions as they contribute offensively and defensively. The People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola ( pt, Movimento Popular de Libertação de Angola, abbr. MPLA), for some years called the People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola – Labour Party (), is an Angolan left-wing, social democratic political party. The National Assembly ( pt, Assembleia Nacional) is the legislative branch of the government of Angola. Angola is a unicameral country so the National Assembly is the only legislative chamber at the national level. The 220 members of the National Assembly are elected by two methods. Ninety are elected in 18 five-seat constituencies, by party-list proportional representation using the d'Hondt method. The other 130 are selected by party-list proportional representation using closed lists, allocated proportionally to the nationwide vote tallies. The 1986 FIBA World Championship was the 10th FIBA World Championship, the international basketball world championship for men's teams. It was hosted by Spain and was held from 5 to 20 July 1986. The final phase of the tournament was held at the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad, Madrid. Luanda
Luanda () is the capital and largest city in Angola. It is Angola's primary port, and its major industrial, cultural and urban centre.
