Gulei Town
Gulei () is a town in Zhangpu County in the far south of Fujian province, China. It lies on a long peninsula, also called Gulei, which projects into the Taiwan Strait, enclosing the Zhang River estuary / Dongshan Bay to its east. The town is the furthest south of any in Zhangpu, one of its villages (called Gulei) being only from the main island of Dongshan. By 2017, Gulei town and the entire Gulei peninsula have been cleared of population for the construction of the Tenglong Chemical Complex. Town (China)
When referring to political divisions of China, town is the standard English translation of the Chinese (traditional: ; ). The Constitution of the People's Republic of China classifies towns as third-level administrative units, along with for example townships (). A township is typically smaller in population and more remote than a town. Haicang District
Haicang () is one of the six county-level districts of Xiamen, People's Republic of China, and one of the four located on the mainland proper, as opposed to on Xiamen Island. History Haicang has always been the port of call for incoming trade to Xiamen. In May 1989, the Chinese government established the Haicang investment zone as a petrochemical industrial area within Xinglin District for Taiwanese business magnate Wang Yongqing. Xiamen
Xiamen ( , ; ), also known as Amoy (, from Hokkien pronunciation ), is a sub-provincial city in southeastern Fujian, People's Republic of China, beside the Taiwan Strait. It is divided into six districts: Huli, Siming, Jimei, Tong'an, Haicang, and Xiang'an. All together, these cover an area of with a population of 5,163,970 as of 2020 and estimated at 5.28 million as of 31 December 2021. Polyethylene terephthalate (or poly(ethylene terephthalate), PET, PETE, or the obsolete PETP or PET-P), is the most common thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family and is used in fibres for clothing, containers for liquids and foods, and thermoforming for manufacturing, and in combination with glass fibre for engineering resins. ''p''-Xylene ( ''para''-xylene) is an aromatic hydrocarbon. It is one of the three isomers of dimethylbenzene known collectively as xylenes. The ''p-'' stands for ''para-'', indicating that the two methyl groups in ''p''-xylene occupy the diametrically opposite substituent positions 1 and 4. It is in the positions of the two methyl groups, their arene substitution pattern, that it differs from the other isomers, ''o''-xylene and ''m''-xylene. Zhang River
The Zhang River is a tributary of the Wei River in China. The river commences at the confluence of the rivers Qingzhang (or Clear Zhang, 清漳河) and Zhuozhang (or Turbid Zhang, 浊漳河), where between She county of Hebei and Linzhou of Henan, then joins the Wei River in Guantao county, Hebei.
