Guilty Crown
is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Production I.G which aired on Fuji TV's noitamina program block from October 13, 2011. The story revolves around Shu Ouma, a high school boy who comes into possession of an ability called the "Power of the King" allowing him to draw out items called "Voids" from other people. He is then thrown into the conflict between a quasi-governmental organization known as GHQ and a rebel organization called Funeral Parlor which aims to restore Japan's independence from the GHQ. In the process, Shu has to deal with the burden his ability puts on his shoulders and the horrific mystery of his past. Two manga adaptations were published, one each by ASCII Media Works and Square Enix. A light novel was published by Nitroplus in April 2012, titled ''Guilty Crown: Princess of Deadpool''. In media, a spin-off (or spinoff) is a radio program, television program, film, video game or any narrative work, derived from already existing works that focus on more details and different aspects from the original work (e.g. particular topics, characters or events). Noitamina
is a Japanese programming block on Fuji TV devoted to anime, originally broadcast every Thursday late night/Friday morning from 00:45 to 1:15. It was launched with the intention of expanding the target audience beyond the typical young male demographic. The block debuted in April 2005 as a half-hour block. All anime production under the block are joint-venue by Fuji TV, Dentsu and usually Sony Music Entertainment Japan or Aniplex. The timeslot was expanded from half an hour to a full hour in 2010, and airs Thursday nights/Friday morning 00:45 to 1:45 but returned to half an hour timeslot in 2015 due to 5 noitaminA-produced films to be shown in Japanese theaters in the same year. Norimitsu Kaihō
is a Japanese light novel writer and translator. Born in Kanagawa prefecture. He is from Keio University Fantasy Study Group. When he was a college student, he posted a coterie translation of an English tabletop RPG "TORG" supplement to Shinkigensha, which was publishing a translated version of this game at the time, and became a member of the translation team because of his ability. Since then, he has expanded his range of activities to translating American comics and writing novels. Kaiho has had experience teaming up with Kazutaka Kodaka. is a Japanese magazine published by ASCII Media Works (formerly MediaWorks) and sold monthly on the thirtieth that primarily contains information on bishōjo games, but also includes an entire section on anime based on bishōjo games, and serializes manga and light novels based on such games. is an editorial category of Japanese comics marketed toward young adult men.
