Grigoriopol Sub-district
Grigoriopol District ( ro, Raionul Grigoriopol; russian: Григориопольский район; uk, Григоріопольський район) is an administrative district of Transnistria (''de facto'') in Moldova (''de jure''). It is located along the river Dniester, in the center of Transnsitria. Its seat is the city of Grigoriopol, located at , on the Dniester river. Hlinaia, Grigoriopol, Transnistria
Hlinaia ( uk, Глинне, ''Hlynne'', russian: Глиное, ''Glinnoye'') is a village in the Grigoriopol sub-district of Transnistria, Moldova. Romani People
The Romani (also spelled Romany or Rromani , ), colloquially known as the Roma, are an Indo-Aryan ethnic group, traditionally nomadic itinerants. Bulgarians ( bg, българи, Bǎlgari, ) are a nation and South Slavic ethnic group native to Bulgaria and the rest of Southeast Europe. Etymology Bulgarians derive their ethnonym from the Bulgars. Gagauzians
The Gagauz ( gag, Gagauzlar) are a Turkic people living mostly in southern Moldova (Gagauzia, Taraclia District, Basarabeasca District) and southwestern Ukraine (Budjak). Gagauz are mostly Eastern Orthodox Christians. The term Gagauz is also often used as a collective naming of Turkic people living in the Balkans, speaking Gagauz language, a language separated from Balkan Gagauz Turkish. Moldovans
Moldovans, sometimes referred to as Moldavians ( ro, moldoveni , Moldovan Cyrillic: молдовень), are a Romance-speaking ethnic group and the largest ethnic group of the Republic of Moldova (75.1% of the population as of 2014) and a significant minority in Ukraine and Russia. Bessarabia, Transnistria and the diaspora originating from these regions, self-identified as Moldovans (another 7% of the population of Moldova self-identified as Romanians). 2004 Census In Transnistria
The 2004 Transnistrian census was organized in Transnistria at roughly the same time that Moldova held its own census, which Transnistria refused to participate in out of principle and deference to its September 2, 1990 declaration of independence.
