Grecoman or Graecoman (Greek: Γραικομάνοι, ''Grekománoi'', Bulgarian: Гъркомани, ''Garkomani'', Macedonian: Гркомани, ''Grkomani'', Romanian: ''Grecomani'', Albanian: ''Grekomanë'', Aromanian: ''Gricumanji'') is a pejorative term used in Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Romania, Albania, and Italy to characterize Albanian–, Aromanian–, Italian-, and Slavic–speaking people, who self-identify as ethnic Greeks. Hellenization (other British spelling Hellenisation) or Hellenism is the adoption of Greek culture, religion, language and identity by non-Greeks.
