Greater Zion Stadium
Greater Zion Stadium, originally Hansen Stadium and later Trailblazer Stadium, is a stadium on the campus of Utah Tech University in St. George, Utah. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Utah Tech Trailblazers football and soccer programs. The stadium holds 10,500 people. In 2002 and 2003, it hosted the Paradise Bowl which was a post season college football all-star game. After the seating expansion in 2017, Greater Zion Stadium became the largest stadium in the southern portion of Utah. MLS soccer club Real Salt Lake played their first match at Hansen Stadium on March 29, 2007, versus the BYU soccer club which, at the time, played as a minor league professional club and not in a collegiate league. Plans include the vision that Hansen Stadium will become the Southern Utah "home" stadium for RSL when visiting the area and practicing in warm weather environments in pre-season. Utah Tech University
Utah Tech University (UT), formerly named Dixie State University (DSU), is a polytechnic four-year public university in St. George, Utah, in southwest Utah (also known by the longtime nickname of " Utah's Dixie" region). UT offers doctoral degrees, master's degrees, bachelor's degrees, associate degrees, and certifications. As of fall 2022, there are 12,556 students enrolled at UT. BYU Cougars Soccer
BYU Cougars men's soccer is an American soccer team based in Provo, Utah, United States. The club has won eleven NIRSA national championships, and it is the only university sponsored soccer program to have ever purchased a franchise, competing in the Premier Development League (now known as USL League Two) from 2003 to 2017. It has since returned to club competition with NIRSA, and the team plays its home games at The Stadium at South Field on the campus of Brigham Young University. Utah Tech Trailblazers Football
The Utah Tech Trailblazers football team, formerly known as the Dixie State Trailblazers, represent Utah Tech University in the sport of American football. The Trailblazers compete as a member of the United Athletic Conference (UAC) at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Originally a junior college program, the school joined the NCAA at the Division II level in 2006 and played in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference from 2008 through 2016 and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons. In July 2020, they began the transition to NCAA Division I status by moving to the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) in all sports except football. American Fork High School
American Fork High School is a public high school in American Fork, Utah, United States. Its mascot is the Caveman, chosen as a tribute to Timpanogos Cave. The school is perhaps best known for its award-winning marching band and cross country teams. The boys cross country team has consistently dominated in Utah and throughout the nation since their first state championship in 2009. Sam Boyd Stadium (formerly the Las Vegas Silver Bowl) is a closed American football, football stadium in Whitney, Nevada, an unincorporated community in the Las Vegas Valley. It honors Sam Boyd (1910–1993), a major figure in the hotel and casino industry in Las Vegas. Bands Of America
Bands of America (BOA) is a music education advocacy organization and promoter of high school marching band competitions in the United States. Established in 1975 as Marching Bands of America (MBA), founder Larry McCormick's goal was to provide educational opportunities for music students nationwide. McCormick organized the first annual Summer Workshop and Festival in 1976. Renamed Bands of America in 1984, the organization became an independent, tax-exempt entity in 1988. In 2006, Bands of America merged with the Music for All Foundation, a music education advocacy organization, becoming the flagship program of the combined organization.
