Grant Chalmers
Grant Chalmers (born 12 September 1969) is a retired Guernsey professional footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League for Brentford. He represented Guernsey at international level and later served as assistant manager at Northerners. Guernsey (; Guernésiais: ''Guernési''; french: Guernesey) is an island in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy that is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, a British Crown Dependency. It is the second largest of the Channel Islands, an island group roughly north of Saint-Malo and west of the Cotentin Peninsula. The Football League First Division was a division of the Football League in England from 1888 until 2004. It was the top division in the English football league system from the season 1888–89 until 1991–92, a century in which the First Division's winning club became English men's football champions. The First Division contained between 12 and 24 clubs, playing each other home and away in a double round robin. The competition was based on two points for a win from 1888 until the increase to three points for a win in 1981. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world.
