Granada Lions is an American football team based in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. History The team was established February 2, 2001 as Granada Universitarios. The name was later changed to the actual Lions, after one of the better known symbols from the Alhambra, the Court of the Lions The Court of the Lions ( es, Patio de los Leones; ar, بهو السباع) or Palace of the Lions ( es, Palacio de los Leones) is a palace in the heart of the Alhambra, a historic citadel formed by a complex of palaces, gardens and forts in Grana ..., in order to represent the whole city of Granada. After playing in regional leagues, they joined the national league LNFA 2 in 2004. Finally, in 2006, the team was promoted to the top league in Spain, the LNFA, where they keep competing. Blue
Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. Brian Andrew Wilbur (born October 26, 1986, in Boring, Oregon) is an American football player and is the starting quarterback for the Granada Lions of the Asocación Andaluza de Fútbol Americano, for whom he has played in three separate seasons: 2007, 2010, and 2014.
