Gran Premio Italia 2020-21 (Italian Grand Prix Of Figure Skating)
The Gran Premio Italia was a four-event grand prix competition for Italian skaters, as well as invited foreign skaters based in Italy. Skaters were selected to appear at either one or two events, and the highest scoring skaters qualified for the final. 2020–21 Figure Skating Season
The 2020–21 figure skating season began on July 1, 2020, and ended on June 30, 2021. During this season, elite skaters competed on the ISU Championship level at the 2021 World Figure Skating Championships, 2021 World Championships. They also competed in elite events such as the 2020–21 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, Grand Prix series and the 2020–21 ISU Challenger Series, ISU Challenger Series. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ISU cancelled the 2020–21 ISU Junior Grand Prix, Junior Grand Prix series and the 2020–21 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, Grand Prix Final. Lucrezia Gennaro (born 25 July 2001) is an Italian figure skater. She is the 2018 Triglav Trophy champion, the 2018 EduSport Trophy champion, the 2018 Denkova-Staviski Cup silver medalist, the 2019 Sofia Trophy silver medalist, and the 2019 Open Ice Mall Cup silver medalist. Short Program (figure Skating)
The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Vocal music with lyrics is allowed for all disciplines since the 2014-2015 season. The short program for single skaters and for pair skaters consists of seven required elements, and there are six required elements for synchronized skaters. Kristen Spours (born 11 April 2000) is an English figure skater. She has won five senior international medals and competed in the final segment at three World Junior Championships (2017, 2018, 2019). Personal life Spours was born on 11 April 2000 in Kingston upon Thames, England. She attended Howard of Effingham School. Francesco Fioretti (born 14 May 1993) is an Italian ice dancer, who currently competes with Carolina Moscheni. With his former skating partner Jasmine Tessari, he won six international medals and is a four-time Italian national medalist. They have competed in the final segment at one ISU Championship. Carolina Moscheni (born 23 May 1996) is a retired Italian ice dancer. With previous partner Francesco Fioretti, she was a two time Italian national silver medalist (2021,2022). With previous partner Andrea Fabbri, she was the 2019 Italian national bronze medalist. She previously represented Hungary, first with partner Ádám Lukács, with whom she placed fourteenth at the 2014 World Junior Championships; and subsequently, briefly, with Balázs Major. With her former skating partner, Pietro Papetti, she is the 2019 Egna Dance Trophy silver medalist and 2018 Open d'Andorra bronze medalist. Filippo Ambrosini (born 26 April 1993) is an Italian pair skater. With his skating partner, Rebecca Ghilardi, he is the 2022 Grand Prix of Espoo champion, a five-time ISU Challenger Series medalist, and a five-time Italian national silver medalist (2019-2023).
