Carolina Moscheni
Carolina Moscheni (born 23 May 1996) is a retired Italian ice dancer. With previous partner Francesco Fioretti, she was a two time Italian national silver medalist (2021,2022). With previous partner Andrea Fabbri, she was the 2019 Italian national bronze medalist. She previously represented Hungary, first with partner Ádám Lukács, with whom she placed fourteenth at the 2014 World Junior Championships; and subsequently, briefly, with Balázs Major. Career In the 2010–11 season, Moscheni skated for Italy with Giorgio Savoldi on the novice level. The following season, she competed as a junior with Igor Ogay. Moscheni teamed up with Hungarian ice dancer Ádám Lukács in May 2012. Barbara Fusar-Poli in Milan and Igor Shpilband in Novi, Michigan became their coaches. Rhythm Dance
The rhythm dance (RD) is the first segment of an ice dance competition. The International Skating Union (ISU) renamed the short dance to the "rhythm dance" in June 2018, prior to the 2018–2019 season. It became part of international competitions in July 2018. French ice dancers Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron hold the highest RD score of 90.83 points, which they achieved at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. 2022 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2022 World Figure Skating Championships were held in Montpellier, France from March 21–27, 2022. Figure skaters competed for the title of world champion in men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition was used to determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2023 World Championships. Montpellier was announced as the host in June 2019. It is the first time that Montpellier has ever hosted the World Championships and the first time that France has hosted since 2012. The 2022 European Figure Skating Championships were held from 10 to 16 January 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia. The 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy was held on September 22–25, 2021 in Oberstdorf, Germany. It was part of the 2021–22 ISU Challenger Series. It was also the final qualifying event for the 2022 Winter Olympics. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance.
