This is a list of characters for the 34th ''Super Sentai'' series ''Tensou Sentai Goseiger''. Much of the series takes inspiration from Japanese and Buddhist mythology in addition to western films for the antagonist factions. Main characters Goseigers The Goseigers are young members of the race, humans born with mysterious powers who moved to the 10,000 years ago so as not to cause trouble for regular humans. Using the as a bridge between the dimensions, the Gosei Angels made it their mission to protect Earth. They are divided into three Tribes: the optimistic with power over aerial elements, the tough with power over the earth, and the calm-headed with power over water. As the 35th anniversary of the ''Super Sentai'' franchise, ''Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger'' features several guest appearances from actors who starred or appeared in the previous 34 ''Super Sentai'' series reprising their roles. Past protagonists During the events of ''Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger'', the 34 previous Sentai teams participated in the Legend War to prevent Earth from falling to the Zangyack Empire, sacrificing their powers in order to do so. Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle
is a Japanese tokusatsu superhero film originally set for release on May 21, 2011, to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Super Sentai Series. The film was directed by Noboru Takemoto and written by Naruhisa Arakawa, and primarily features the casts of ''Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger'' and ''Tensou Sentai Goseiger'', among the 199 total heroes from the Super Sentai series to appear. This is a list of characters from the 33rd Super Sentai Series ''Samurai Sentai Shinkenger''. The series incorporates heavy elements of Japan in terms of culture, mythology and '' Nihon Bukkyō''. is a Japanese actor and model who is affiliated with Stardust Promotion, then later JJ Promotion. Kyousuke Hamao
is a Japanese former actor, singer, and model. Hamao debuted as an actor in the role of Eiji Kikumaru in '' Musical: The Prince of Tennis'' from 2007 to 2009.
