Golam Gauss
Golam Gauss ( bn, গোলাম গাউস; born 12 May 1969) is a retired Bangladeshi footballer who represented the Bangladesh national team between 1991 and 1993. Early life Born in the Masdair Gabtoli area of Narayanganj Sadar Upazila, Gauss was raised among three brothers. His eldest brother, Alam Babu, played in the Dhaka League for Azad Sporting Club in the late '70s. Gauss was an amateur sprinter and earned first place in the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter races in school athletics. Club career In 1983, Gauss played in the Pioneer League for Narayanganj BIWTC, and the following year, he participated in the Narayanganj Second Division with Sher-e-Bangla Club. His performances during the Caravan Cup under-16 tournament for Narayanganj District saw him being called for trials at PWD SC by coach Shamsuzzoha Chad. Narayanganj
Narayanganj ( bn, নারায়ণগঞ্জ ''Naraeongônj'') is a city in central Bangladesh. It is in the Narayanganj District, about southeast of the capital city of Dhaka, and has a population of about 2 million. It is the 6th largest city in Bangladesh. Pioneer Football League (Bangladesh)
Pioneer Football League ( ban, পাইওনিয়ার ফুটবল লীগ ), also known as the Bangladesh Pioneer Football League, is an age-level league and also the sixth-tier of Bangladeshi football organised by Bangladesh Football Federation. The semi-finalsits of the competition are promoted to the Dhaka Third Division Football League. As the tournament is considered to be the lowest level of Bangladeshi football, so the number of participants is unlimited as well as any club is able to send an application to participate in the tournament. History The league unofficially started on 29 April 1980. A total of 160 teams participated in the qualifiers, from which 80 teams got a chance in the final stage. Mohammad Monem Munna (; 9 June 1966 – 12 February 2005) was a Bangladeshi footballer who mainly played as a center back. He is often regarded as the best defender that ever played for Bangladesh. He is well known by his surname "King-Back". Krishanu Dey
Krishanu Dey ( bn, কৃশানু দে; 14 February 1962 – 20 March 2003) was an Indian footballer from Kolkata, India. He was an attacking midfielder and was known as the "Indian Maradona" among his fans due to his footballing skills and playing style.
