Pioneer Football League (Bangladesh)
Pioneer Football League ( ban, পাইওনিয়ার ফুটবল লীগ ), also known as the Bangladesh Pioneer Football League, is an age-level league and also the sixth-tier of Bangladeshi football organised by Bangladesh Football Federation. The semi-finalsits of the competition are promoted to the Dhaka Third Division Football League. As the tournament is considered to be the lowest level of Bangladeshi football, so the number of participants is unlimited as well as any club is able to send an application to participate in the tournament. History The league unofficially started on 29 April 1980. A total of 160 teams participated in the qualifiers, from which 80 teams got a chance in the final stage. But the tournament was not registered as the Bangladesh Football Federation did not determine a champion and runner-up team. The Pioneer League officially started in 1981. Dhaka Second Division Football League
Dhaka Second Division Football League is the fourth-tier football league in Bangladesh, and the second highest league division in Dhaka. The league was founded in 1948 as the second-tier of the Dhaka League, while Bangladesh were still under the control of Pakistan. Until 1992, it was the second-tier of Bangladeshi football, before being replaced by the now defunct Dhaka First Division Football League, in 1993. In 2012, the league was further demoted into becoming the country's fourth-tier. The two top-finishing teams in the Super League round are automatically promoted to the Dhaka Senior Division League (Dhaka League). Skylark Football Club ( bn, স্কাইর্লাক ফুটবল ক্লাব) is an association football club from Dhaka, Bangladesh. The club currently plays in Dhaka Third Division Football League, the fifth-tier in the Bangladeshi football league system. History Skylark Football Club was established on 9 February 2021, through the re-organisation of Henian Club, a club which was initially formed in 2016. The club took part in the Pioneer League (U-15) in 2021. However, they were unable to secure the top four promotion spots to the Dhaka Third Division League.
