''Glorious Times at the Spessart Inn'' (german: Herrliche Zeiten im Spessart) is a 1967 West German comedy film directed by Kurt Hoffmann and starring Liselotte Pulver, Harald Leipnitz, and Vivi Bach. It is the last in a trilogy of films begun by ''The Spessart Inn'' in 1958. The plot this time revolves around time travelling. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Isabella and Werner Schlichting. Kurt Hoffmann
Kurt Hoffmann (12 November 1910 – 25 June 2001) was a German film director, the son of Carl Hoffmann. He directed 48 films between 1938 and 1971. He ran a production company Independent Film along with Heinz Angermeyer. His 1958 film ''Wir Wunderkinder'' was entered into the 1st Moscow International Film Festival and his 1960 film '' The Haunted Castle'' was entered into the 2nd Moscow International Film Festival where it won the Silver Prize. Peter Capell
Peter Capell (3 September 1912 – 3 March 1986) was a German actor who was active on screen from 1945 until 1985. Apart from a lengthy film career, he appeared in many television series and mini-series. He appeared in many old time radio programs including the series '' Dimension X''. His first role was in '' Winterset'', shortly after the end of the Second World War. His final role came a year before his death, when he appeared in ''Mamas Geburtstag''. Both of these were television productions. He also appeared in many films, including ''Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory'' (1971). Capell was also in Stanley Kubrick's 1957 war film ''Paths of Glory'' (he also narrated the film's opening sequence), co-starring Kirk Douglas. Death Capell died in Munich, West Germany on March 3, 1986, aged 73. No cause of death was announced. Klaus Schwarzkopf
Klaus Schwarzkopf (18 December 1922, in Neuruppin – 21 June 1991, in Bochum) was a German actor. From 1971 until 1978 he starred in the Norddeutscher Rundfunk version of the popular television crime series ''Tatort''. He was also known as a respected stage actor and for being the German dubbing voice of Peter Falk as ''Columbo'' during the 1970s. Schwarzkopf was gay, but never admitted it. Hans Richter (actor)
Hans Richter (12 January 1919 – 5 October 2008) was a German film actor. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1931 and 1984, mostly in supporting roles. He was born in Brandenburg, Germany and died in Heppenheim, Germany. Life and career Hans Richter made his film debut as "Fliegender Hirsch" in Gerhard Lamprecht's ''Emil and the Detectives'' (1931), based on the novel of the same name by Erich Kästner. In the following years, Richter become a popular juvenile actor; often playing clever, somewhat cheeky boys (a type similar to Mickey Rooney in the American film during the 1930s). When he reached legal age, he had appeared in over 50 films. After his supporting role as a lazy schoolboy in ''Die Feuerzangenbowle'' (1944), Richter got drafted into the German Wehrmacht and was also in war imprisonment for some time. Hannelore Elsner (; born Hannelore Elstner; 26 July 1942 – 21 April 2019) was a German actress with a long career in television and film.
