Global Thinkers Forum
Global Thinkers Forum (GTF) is a non-profit, London-based organisation and was incubated at Oxford University’s Said Business School in 2011. It has been created to "help our societies and leaders navigate a very complex world". GTF launched officially in 2012 in Amman, Jordan. History GTF was founded in 2012 by Elizabeth Filippouli. The 1st GTF and inaugural GTF Awards for Excellence took place in Amman, Jordan (6-8 October 2012) discussing the role of the modern Arab woman, in the MENA region and globally. GTF convened some 350 international executives under the patronage of Queen Rania of Jordan and with the support of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development. GTF was incubated at Oxford Said Business School as an initiative to create new thinking and effect positive change for the world. English Language
English is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family, with its earliest forms spoken by the inhabitants of early medieval England. It is named after the Angles, one of the ancient Germanic peoples that migrated to the island of Great Britain. Existing on a dialect continuum with Scots, and then closest related to the Low Saxon and Frisian languages, English is genealogically West Germanic. Stephen Joseph Samuel Cole (born March 29, 1954) is a retired British journalist, producer, news anchor and television presenter. He was the creative force behind BBC ''Click'' and its first host from 2000-2006. Princess Sumaya Bint El Hassan
Princess Sumaya bint Hassan (born 14 May 1971) is a princess of Jordan. Early life Sumaya was born in Amman on 14 May 1971, to Prince Hassan bin Talal and Princess Sarvath al-Hassan. Her mother was of Pakistani-Bengali descent. She received her primary education at the Amman Baptist School in Jordan, and subsequently at the International Community School. Sumaya later attended Sherborne School for Girls in Dorset, in England. She went on to graduate from the Courtauld Institute of Art at the University of London with a Bachelor of Arts in the History of Art, specializing in Early Sources of Islamic Art and Architecture. The Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue Between Cultures is a network of civil society organisations dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue in the Mediterranean region. It was set up in 2005 by the governments of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (Euromed), a political agreement made in 1995 between the European Union and Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Syria and Turkey.
